Barnabas Quintus D'Oliviera QC, a renowned barrister in London, takes a sabbatical from his career in search of his mother's biological roots in India. As a youngster, he had heard stories of his mother's abandonment at the tender age of three or four, some sixty-five years ago. He wanted to do something about it when he grew up. He wanted to give his mother the ultimate gift of finding her biological family. During his search, he learns a lot about the charity's foundation which helps abandoned and orphaned children.
