The book consists of various short stories from early 60s till date. Most of the characters depicted in the stories are / were real people who touched the author's life and left an everlasting impression on his mind. The characters depicted are / were from various strata of society. The concept of the book is derived from a normal person's life of "living within 4 walls". A person also creates walls within his own mind which he allows only a few chosen people to peep into. Otherwise it remains his private world. The author makes an effort to go deep in people's mind to understand his / her private world within the walls of his / her mind. The outcome is depicted through a story.
