Morris Markus, the police department commissioner, gets imprisoned in his thoughts after discovering seven cassette tapes in a crime scene that takes him to the past that something horrific has happened to a man named Travis Traskins. He was arrested and sent to jail for a murder that he never committed. The citizens get terrorized after the shaking crimes that two unknown murderers have perpetrated for the past five years and remained among the people, hiding in plain sight. Markus follows the lead and the horrific incident five years ago that involved the two unknown murderers and Travis Traskins. Out of nowhere, something from the past also comes closer to Markus, which he didn't see coming.
