The author's inspiration to write this book came when she was encouraged by a friend to join a poetry class at the local library two years ago. She soon discovered she had a talent for writing poems and within that year received two collaboration awards. One award was third place and another first place, both for writing a poem about an artist's painting. A third collaboration first place award a year later was when an artist chose one of her poems to do a painting depicting her poem. The final and major inspiration came when she read a book sent to her by Dr. David Jeremiah's turning point ministry entitled "The Jesus Code" and subtitled "Finding Jesus in Every Book in the Bible" written by O.S. Hawkins. She also feels as the psalmist wrote in Psalm 119:127 NIV " Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold". The author's purpose in writing this book is to instill in the reader a further interest in the word of God and curiosity to discover for themselves the Truths found there. The condensed versions in poetry are to enlighten and encourage her audience to go back to scripture and learn these truths for themselves.
