When a poor miller dies, his three sons are given their inheritance. The eldest son is given the mill, the middle son is given his donkey, leaving the youngest son with almost nothing: a cat the family believes to be useless. But Puss isn't any old cat. Not only can he talk, but he's incredibly cunning. He sets out to make the young man's fortune, proving that he didn't get such a bad deal after all.
