Are Star Wars and the idea of the force harmless ideas for simple entertainment? Or is there a darker underlying philosophy that is being subtly presented?

Many people see significant analogies between Star Wars and Christianity, but Star Wars, at its core, is a subtle presentation of concepts incompatible with Judeo-Christian values. The Force of Star Wars is deceptively portrayed as analogous to God, and the interactions of characters in Star Wars with the Force are similar to those of individuals with a deity. This is closely aligned with the New Age philosophy of God being a universal force. Those viewing Star Wars must be wary to avoid deception. The Force of Star Wars/the New Age is radically different from the God of the Bible.
