Assistant Cruise Director, Millie Sanders-Armati, is settling into her new life as the wife of Nic Armati, the captain of the mega passenger cruise ship, the "Siren of the Seas." Despite the fact there's a potential hurricane forming in the Atlantic, the ship sets sail at full capacity from the Port of Miami on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

In addition to their already busy workloads, the ship's entertainment staff has their hands full with several large travel groups, including a large family reunion. The cruise barely gets underway as chaos breaks out on board and soon two of the troublemakers are placed under house arrest.

When one of the security guards in charge of guarding the men is found injured and later dies en route to the hospital, Millie can't help but wonder if it was an accident, or if the crewmember was murdered.

With the head of security tight-lipped on the investigation and with precious time ticking away, Millie is forced to begin her own investigation with a little help from her friends.
