Singer and rapper Aaron Carter has died at the age of 34.
He was the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter.
Carter was discovered dead in his bath at his home in Lancaster, California, on Saturday morning. Representatives of his team confirmed his death, PA reported.
"Right now it's a pretty awful moment; we're trying to understand what occurred and what the reason for it was," they stated.
"We're just as sorry as everyone else and hope that people may donate thoughts and prayers to his family."
Los Angeles County police arrived at the location at approximately 11:00 local time (18:00 GMT) after receiving a complaint of drowning.
