It was a harebrained scheme.

When he's caught flying coach alongside one of the biggest gossips in his social circle, Brodie Cameron claims his newly-hired personal assistant, Stella, is actually his girlfriend. Rather than admit he lied, he convinces Stella to go along with it.

Stella will pretend to be his girlfriend —for a sizable bonus—for the duration of the summer. A few weddings on his arm, one weekend at a cabin, and she'll earn enough money to pay off her student debts. And she'll see how the other half lives. Why not?
