This completed manuscript focused on technical information for mental health professionals and undergrad/grad students in mental health training or degree programs. It addressed the varied, important aspects of grad training, how to choose field placements, mentors, different modalities used in counseling and psychotherapy, and related topics. It told the story of someone who changed a career and the trials/tribulations of returning to grad schools after being away for years. It is a blend of self-help and textbook for professional degree programs.
