Our beloved champion from Arizona, Kira Logan, takes on another murder mystery in the latest thriller series by Joan Andrew. Her latest project in Phoenix brings her closer to home. She is commissioned to paint the portrait of her friend from an exercise class, Bonnie Barlow.

The business partner of Bonnie's realtor husband, Frank Thornton, also commissioned Kira to do his portrait, his wife Patricia, and Carlton, Bonnie's husband. To make things more complicated, Alan, Bonnie and Carlton's son, are having a secret discourse about helping Patricia get out from a relationship filled with physical abuse. There is even a rumor that Frank may have been sexually abusing one of their teenage children.
