Jack, an attorney,has a computer arranged date with beautiful Elizabeth who is a day trader in the penny stock market.. As their relationship develops so do her legal troubles for trading on the advice of her cousin Thomas who is manipulating the market. Things get worse when Tom is wounded by a trader who loses everything, because his trades are based on the fake information Tom puts out. Elizabeth is sexually assaulted by a rogue cop and Jack must advise her whether or not to proceed with a lawsauit against the Police Department, or take a deal offered by the DA for her to drop her lawsuit and save Tom from prison.
