Teaching the history of Russia and Ukraine in Belarus has a long tradition. With the opening of the Belarusian State University, V.I. Picheta, D.P. Zharinov, A.A. set out to present students with their reading of such an important for professional development of the history of neighbouring peoples. All generations of Belarusian university historians used educational and scientific literature on this issue, which was created in the classroom's Russian centres of historical scientific thought. And Ukrainian history was considered only as an organic addition to history.
