Dilemma: Jane and Joseph are over the moon that their family keeps growing. The third homebirth went well, but unfortunate tragedy sets in shortly after, forcing doctors to making the difficult decision to perform an emergency partial hysterectomy with little chance of anymore future pregnancies. The story begins 2 years later, during Jane's post partum "depression", or grieving process after starting counseling, trying to "find herself" again in this new woman she's becoming. Can they find a way to build each other up, and love each other again in this "new normal" without further wounding one another?
