What happens when indomitable will meets entrenched authority?

A young enlisted sailor works with dogged determination to achieve his dream and become a commissioned officer-but is thrown into the unfamiliar world of the Silent Service. Immediately told he does not belong at his new command and likely will never be qualified, he must make a choice: comply with orders and walk away or dig deep and stand firm.
