Del patrón en la época virreinal y republicana, en su familia, de sus parejas y actualmente de su jefe en el trabajo debido a un arraigado machismo. Este relato cuenta la historia de dos mujeres. Una muere por el maltrato a muy joven edad dejando varios hijos. A la mujer que sobrevive y escapa la violencia le cuesta aceptar que la felicidad existe y que ella la merece.
This is the story of two women, one dies too young, the other needs to accept that happiness is possible. Male chauvinism dominates Peru for centuries. I wrote this story to honour the lives of my grandma and my mother. My granny didn't survive the abuse. My mom was lucky to find a gentle, kind man who fell in love with her. May both rest in power.
