In the book we meet a young boy, PJ, that has a vivid dream the night before his first day of school. Whether it was nerves or pure excitement, he tells his grandmother of his wild dream, where he went to the moon and back. Along with the help of this grandmother motivating him and some close friends we see PJ go on a journey to relive his dream of traveling to the moon and back.
