We are the vessels in which the spirit of humanity has found its home. Somehow, and through the eons of arduous ordeal, a group of humans has fallen woefully short of the mark. Day and night, here and yonder, the mark, which beckons: I, the perfect spirit, am calling! Do you not hear? Do you not heed? Alas, for the days become night, and the darkness, menacing, and greedy, does not depart from those hearts the light of which has long since ceased to shine. And they allow no counsels of prudence to prevail.

There are those who are wronged, and mind not, down trodden, and cry not, and heartbroken but always forgive. And this earth, and all therein, is kept in balance by their goodness! They are the salt of this earth, extending immeasurable sacrifices in times of immense peril. "Here I am, send me," they aver.

"The day may dawn when fair play, love for one's fellow-men, respect for justice and freedom, will enable tormented generations to march forth serene and triumphant from the hideous epoch in which we have to dwell. Meanwhile, never flinch, never weary, never despair."
