Reunions can be deadly.

When small-town witch Maddie Goodcharm organizes a school reunion, the last thing she expects is that one of her friends will die during a magical experiment. Even Maddie believes the death is accidental until another person dies and this time there's no doubt it's murder.

Meanwhile the sheriff is in the hospital with food poisoning, and his least competent deputy is convinced the murder was committed by a fifteen-year-old boy, who just happens to be the grandson of the nicest woman in town. Maddie is determined to prove the kid is innocent, but that means delving into the secrets of the past. And who knows what she will find.
