介紹筆記電腦實用維修技術。1996年，美國《電腦雜誌》提到康柏於1982年11月推出了一款手提電腦，重28磅（約合14公斤），這應該算是最早的筆記型電腦雛形。但IBM卻拒絕接受這個說法，堅持認為它在1985年開發的一台名為PC Convertible的膝上電腦才是筆記型電腦真正意義上的"開山鼻祖。
