The Supreme Court's formal repudiation of Roe v. Wade was joyful news for the righteous across our nation, as well as for those who fear God across the watching world. Roe's reversal may lead to some decrease in the slaughter of innocent children, but it will not bring it to an end. The end of this horror will arrive only when God works among us to cause us to repent and turn to the Lord Jesus. The bloodshed will end only when Man once more receives with joy the little ones God blesses us with when He places them in Woman's womb.

As its title suggests, Abortion and the Church does its most exhaustive work in exposing the church's own bloodguilt in the matter of abortion. This is only right given God's words in 1 Peter 4:17-18: "It is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner?" This statement of Evangel Presbytery is a call to the church to repent of leading the way in the sacrifice of our nation's children.
