Do you desire be a master in the art of quilting? Do you have the passion and determination to make very beautiful quilt designs? And you don't have the luxury of time to go through very bulky textbooks or that you have limited space for sewing. This book is the exact package you need. I will be unveiling to you the basic guidelines and instructions you must know in order to be able to make awesome quilt as you go projects. It doesn't matter if you are an amateur or a pro. You will be tapping into years of quilting experience that is broken down to easy steps that you can follow through will change your quilting experience for the better.

The quilt as you go technique is known to simplify quilting, most especially for beginners. This is a simple way to join quilted pieces using a machine.

Using this method, you will be able to quilt your projects piece by piece rather than handling bulky quilts.

The very first thing you should know about the Quilt as you go technique is that it is perfect for machine appliquéd projects. If you've ever tried machine quilting over a fused appliqué design you will understand why this method works better. The fusible web product creates too much bulk for machine quilting on a domestic machine and you end up with a ton of skipped stitches and the occasional broken needle.

Basically, "the quilt as you go" technique means you create BLOCKS and you quilt them individually, and then you join the QUILTED blocks into a large quilt, with sashing. While you can make the blocks in any technique you want, for this tutorial I used the easiest technique: I just quilted a design in the center of the blocks.
You should also be aware that this technique produces a double-sided quilt; if you want to use both sides, plan ahead what to use as backing for your blocks. A good idea is to use fabrics from the same collection.
