The author's purpose for writing My Beautiful Sunshine is to help bring awareness to bullying. To show kids what bullying looks like and how it makes someone feel when they're being bullied. She aims to inspire kids to be a friend and not a bully. Danale believes we can make a difference in the world if we make it a habit of loving our neighbors as yourself.
