At the height of the Iraq War, Mark Wehle was hired to mend the electrical infrastructure in Iraq and train local teams to maintain it. While he worked in Basra and Baghdad, Mark's project attracted a huge media spotlight, inspiring the hatred of terrorists who wanted the Americans dead.

Mark suddenly needed aid from the very people he'd gone to the Middle East to help. In spite of great personal danger, several Iraqis offered their support and protection. This profound experience fundamentally changed Mark's life and brought new meaning to the word brotherhood.
