Jessica is a young woman who enjoys nothing more than her summer holidays at her family holiday home, where she is able to use her father's sailing boat away from the city.

Something different occurs on this particular trip as she sails into the local town, where she encounters love at first sight with a local cafe waitress, Trisha. Being so fixated on the young woman, she fails to recognise little oddities in the town. Only once she attempts to reach the town by road, then by sailing there once more, does she notice the differences in time.

In 30 Summers, we experience two perspectives of the challenges that face us when being true to our own identities. A true portrayal of life in a small English coastal town in 1989, in comparison to the freedoms of 2019. Both Jessica and Trisha re-examine their present, their future and themselves as individuals.
