Sounak Samaddar is a man of forty years who hails from a middle class family in Kolkata. He started his search for a soul mate while he was in his late 20s. In the midst of all the years gone by, Sounak had a number of romantic overtures but then each ended on an ironic note. Sounak had his luck to curse for all that has happened to him till date as per his own assessment. However he is not someone to accept defeat. He believes that someone somewhere must be there for him with whom he will seek marital bliss. He still dreams of those 'yet to happen' romantic moments in his life and he still feels happy about it.
