Her boyfriend's name is Professor Micheal Reynolds, who is a world-renowned scientist. He is on the brink of discovering a way to detect Black Matter and manipulate it to regrow living tissue within the Human body, for medical advancements for the greater good of humanity. However, through a series of unfortunate events Nancy McGill becomes caught up in her boyfriend's bad decisions and ultimately his invention. She becomes forever change and becomes The Black Matter Woman. She now has the ability to manipulate Dark Matter. Nancy becomes powerful and she alley herself with Team Revolution to fight a powerful adversary that threatens the city of New York City.
