I remember the night very well. No revival meeti ng, no bells or whistles, but on that night my enti re life changed. I had wanted a career in country music.. .wanted it badly. But that night I walked out of my wife's parents home into the driveway, looked up into the sky where I thought that God was, and prayed the simple litt le prayer "God, have mercy on me, a sinner."
