Grahame is a well-known author in Australia. He usually writes about the Australian outback, having written more than a dozen novels on that subject; but this time, he sets his hand to write a complicated love story about a teenage girl who is born, both deaf and dumb, and her struggles to find love at the tender age of eighteen.
