Jones' Granny Jones is 101 years old. She is having a Shin-dig mountian style. Jones asks Rage to go and meet all the family. She jumps at the chance. It is all scheduled and they leave for Memphis. It takes a small plane to get them close and then a shine running car the rest of the way. Mary-Lou is trying to deliver a 6th generation Jones' but runs into problems. Rage more than assists in the delivery.
After the Shin-dig is over they leave to continue their vacation. Rage has an adventure trying to get some money from a branch of her bank in Memphis. Then the bank has a problem.
They decide to go home and continue their vacation there. But first, they decide to buy an old truck for Mary-Lou and her new twins. This is another adventure with a uniformed officer leading the way.
They are happy to be home and see what Granny Jones has given them.
