When Awen suddenly arrives at Ceridwen's farm, the place is a complete escape for her. It's a place that Ceridwen has escaped to also, running away from the modern world and closing the door on a world full of hate. It's a chance for both of them to close the door on their past. Awen and Ceridwen's friendship strengthens as nature's old medicines mends them. But nature is a cruel mistress.
