Nyika is a beautiful land where animals live in peace. Then comes Man, and the peace the animals have known is gone. He makes Nyika a colony of the Watu empire, then starts killing animals for their skins, horns, and meat. He steals the natural wealth of Nyika and cuts the trees, threatening to turn Nyika into a desert. The animals plan a revolt led by Tembo the elephant. There follows the greatest chase ever witnessed in Nyika. The enemy Man is finally caught and tried in the Nyika court. He is sentenced to die by trampling but Simba wa Nyika the First, the king of the animals, takes pity on him.
