Balthazaar is a boy who is a little bizarre to most. He goes to the forests and tries to feel the souls of the trees, animals, soil, and all. He is mostly on his own. He knows nothing about his parents apart from being their good boy.

One day, he goes to the forest again and meets a girl. That is when Balthazaar starts to see a new world.
