The continued adventures of John, a 10-year-old boy, and his brain-mate Andy, an alien AI. John struggles with growing up quicker than he would have had to without Andy pushing him.
Andy is worried about the trouble John's father seems to be in, and has decided John needs to toughen up fast.
It's not all doom and gloom - John deals with school bad-boy Billy, and has a lot of fun with his nest box project and the girls' soccer team along the way.
Set in 2010 Disappear in Darkness is light-heartedly funny but with dark patches and some adult themes.
