Heléna Katsaros has a great life, especially a job she loves. Her work of orchestrating fundraising for organizations allows her to travel and meet all manner of interesting people.
So, when she meets someone who would make the top of that list—the god of the Underworld himself—she's intrigued and more than a little attracted to him. He makes her a proposition: "come to Hades and spend six months helping me to improve the land of the dead for the souls who are there."
