For those not satisfied with who they are, or know they can do better... When we look in the mirror, we see a reflection. If we don't like what we see, we can either make cosmetic changes or, through surgery, get alterations implemented. Unfortunately, we can't do that if we've developed bad habits or traits, and often some of our bad habits, we don't even know about until someone exposes them. Even your best friend may not tell you about some of them. The observations via poems are to help expose some of those habits, traits, and character flaws like nobody taught you to have a filter on the things you say? We can't say everything that comes to mind, or a slap upside the head might be in our near future. Or when we talk, we may make gestures or faces that give away the truth when you tell a lady she's not really fat or a coworker that they're smart? Poems make you question, who am I, and do I act like that when you know you don't want to be disrespectful. Another means to improve your self-worth and character while distancing yourself from the negative characteristic flaws and undesirable habits.
