John Hadidian is the Director of the Urban Wildlife Program at The Humane Society of the United States. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1947 and received a doctorate in Primatology from the Pennsylvania State University in 1979. He served as the Regional Wildlife Biologist for the National Park Service's Center for Urban Ecology in Washington DC from 1985 to 1995. There he conducted field research on raccoon, deer, and squirrels, as well as research on wildlife-habitat relationships and human-wildlife conflict issues in urbanizing environments.
