One life change that makes me open my eyes to who someone I love truly is.

I love Matteo with everything in me. Until one decision made by him puts such a distance between us. I'm not sure our lives will ever be the same again. Not with the time we spend apart and the paths our lives are taking. Everything is changing and I don't know what I want anymore. Can I be the person he needs me to be or will my true colors shove him away permanently?

An unplanned life changing event makes me sign my name on the dotted line in the hopes I'm doing the right thing. Instead of worrying about all the plans we've made, I'm now in the military. I've left my entire family and the love of my life behind for a career I never wanted.
