Irwin Redlener, MD is associate dean at the Joseph L. Mailman School of Public Health and Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He directs Columbia's National Center on Disaster Preparedness and a special initiative on public health advocacy. Dr. Redlener is also president and co-founder of The Children's Health Fund, a philanthropic initiative created to develop and support health care programs for medically underserved children.
