Sleeping Beauty is a tale that everyone knows. This version is based on all of the old versions, but it has better morals. None of the old versions explain why an intelligent woman would touch a spindle when she had been probably told her whole life not to touch the spindle. This one explains why she really had no choice. It also disregards the idea that an intelligent young lady would marry someone she doesn't know. It is the author's hope that Sleeping Beauty makes the reader question why we value appearances in women more than what is really important. And it will hopefully make the reader question why we value men more than women. When we question the beliefs that we have had our whole lives, we begin to change. When we really pause to think about and question what we believe we either have a better conviction, or we change what needs to be changed. It is also the author's hope that Sleeping Beauty can teach that everyone can choose happily ever after
