"Now that her children are adults, Nancy's passion for healthy mother-daughter relationships, the fertile soil from which godliness can grow, is directed to others. With her daughters she has written a curriculum designed to guide these lifelong family relationships. Her words and those of her girls open the doors of communication between mothers and daughters and helps build healthy open friendships, the desire of every mom" (Barbara Rainey, Ever Thine Home, Founder).

The Mother's Guide (guidance is provided if someone other than mom will be doing the study) is a companion to the Daughter's 4 Week Study and assists you as you take her through the lessons. Within the guide, helpful information is included so you can provide your daughter with a deeper understanding of the content. Together you will look at how God cares about the style she is promoting to the world and how He wants to help her become who she was designed to be. She will be encouraged to follow God's way not Culture's way. The Bible will be used to explain and confirm how God views your daughter.

Week 1, introduces her to seven (7) styles that influence the person she projects to the world. The objective is to help her understand that her personal style should show off her signature style, the person God designed her to be.

Week 2, discusses how people in her world are perceiving who she is by what she wears, how she acts, what she says and with whom she associates. They want to know if her faith is real and if she is living what she believes at home, at school or at play. One of the authors' personal story will be provided to share her own experience.

Week 3, explains that everything she does should reflect Christ, because as a Christian, she represents Him to the world. The importance of your daughter's self worth being found in her relationship with Christ, not on her appearance, intelligence, talents, status, wealth or what others think, will be encouraged.

Week 4 suggests a date for mother and daughter to celebrate their relationship, share what they learned and pray for one another. An action point to apply what was learned is identified.

This is the second study of nine studies that will help your daughter grow into the woman God designed her to be. Each study looks at a different area of her life, such as beauty, fashion, and friendships. She will learn life skills and values through these studies that will build character into her life and equip her to make a difference in her world.
