A quick look at the way in which psychology has cherry picked aspects of Buddhism to suit it's own wayward agenda treating them as ornaments to garnish it's own self image. Western practitioners themselves no sooner attain a small degree of awareness only to go chasing after whatever nonsense has bubbled up into their heads. Awareness practice is only about it's own agenda and its own result.
