Luxiel was born and raised in the kingdom of Tasscun. He's never seen the world outside his home and has only heard bad things about it. The worst of it involved Sesatrile, an enemy kingdom. But when Luxiel is sent to Sesatrile as Tasscun's ambassador, he meets Prince Umbracus. After learning of Luxiel's situation, Prince Umbracus offers to take him on a trip around the world.
