Elderly abuse and neglect is a social problem of increasing concern to policymakers, practitioners, and researchers worldwide. This book is a comprehensive overview of the current and growing issue of elderly abuse and neglect. The book examines aging, theories of elder victimization, current policy issues, the variety of victimizations that occur to the elderly, and new practice intervention models, all supplemented with up-to-date research on crimes against the elderly.
