Le responsable du club de philatélie devrait pourtant être là. Après tout, c'est lui qui a organisé cette semaine éducative, qui comprend même la présentation d'une capsule temporelle! Quand M. Rodrigue réapparaît soudainement et trouve les deux amis, il apporte de mauvaises nouvelles : Mc Sirop vient juste de le ramener du passé à l'aide d'un dangereux rayon spatio-temporel qu'il n'a pas peur d'utiliser.
