New Jersey commuter, Greg Twain, felt trapped by his choices. Married to the high-school prom-queen, working in a dull job, and paying debts, Greg went through the motions of daily life, but felt as if he couldn't deal with the boredom, or, living a lie.

While commuting to New York daily on the Bergen County trainline, Greg meets a young man in his exact same circumstances. As the two men begin to form a friendship, Greg and Bruce find they have more in common than they think.
