The revelation to take away from the events at the cross is to understand that our transgressions were pardoned by the wounds, that our iniquities were forgiven by the bruises, that our peace was born through the chastisement and that by his stripes, we are healed. Before Jesus was to be nailed to the cross, he had to break the dis-ease of sorrow through conception. He did this by taking away the physical curse of disease through the stripes on his back.
