A widow is determined to marry her three very different daughters to wealthy men. She has researched oil magnates who will be attending a conference at a hotel and sent her daughters there to nab them. Unexpected events caused by her darlings cause her to appear at the hotel to straighten things out. There she is confronted by the mother of one of the men who has no tolerance for women she perceives as gold-diggers. True love triumphs, but in ways that surprise everyone.
