It may take years to reach the wealth accumulation phase. We start out, just trying to break even. We work hard at our jobs and get promotions. We get married and have kids. We incur debt as we try to buy a house, cars, and go on vacation.

Once we become smarter, we start to save aggressively and plan for retirement. We are in the wealth accumulation phase, which is beyond the wealth creation phase.

My wife and I are in the wealth accumulation phase. Let me tell you, once you reach this phase, it's better to have two people instead of one. It may be more challenging to take the journey with someone else, but it pays off in spades in the long run.

Now, my wife and I look forward to retirement, assisting our kids, estate planning, and succession planning. Life is amazing when all you have to do is let the systems you built do their jobs. Two really is better than one.
