Passive income from rental properties is one of my favorite sources of revenue. However, there are huge concerns with rents as we position ourselves to move overseas and live off of this money.

The main issue is who will manage your properties? We need to be able to place complete trust and confidence in our property managers. Many of us will not find someone this trustworthy or responsible to handle this vital task.

But, let's not give up hope. If you have children, we can position both them and us to profit from managing these properties. We can also move overseas with a huge cash pile to hedge against mismanagement back home.

Finally, we can leverage cash-out refinances to supplement our investment portfolios with REITs. REITs are more passive than rental properties and retain many of the benefits.

We still need to keep 2-3 properties back home, but having the rest of our rental income coming from REITS will significantly reduce stress and increase our enjoyment overseas. If this sounds interesting, please read more inside.
